Cristy Wells, PT, DPT
"My path to this junction has been one less traveled:
I served our great nation in the U.S. Air Force.
I then received my masters as a civil engineer and worked in the Flathead
as a civil/structural engineer for 10 years.
As a veteran and engineer, I am able to both connect and utilize a unique skill set
in my treatment of patients as a physical therapist."
Cristy's heart lead her towards helping people live a better life; so she gave up her career as an civil engineer to pursue physical therapy. Cristy received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Montana.
What Cristy enjoys most in her job is taking care of people and helping them feel better. She especially enjoys treating fellow veterans, whether it be to help them regain their independence or to increase strength and mobility for active pursuits.
Cristy was born in Brazil and grew up in Whitefish, Montana.
She has a wonderful, supportive family and without them she says she wouldn't be who or where she is today. In her spare time, she loves essentially anything outdoors during any season. She also enjoys reading, crafting, traveling and spending time with her family.
