Love to skin & backcountry ski/snowboard, but don’t go as often as you would like because you experience persistent pain in your muscles and joints?
Join Kimberly Weichers, DPT, for a Group Skin & Ski/Ride: Receive individualized tips on bodymechanics, posture and technique to decrease stress on your body and alter your muscle-use patterns, enhancing your ability to skin longer distances with less discomfort.
3 dates throughout the start of the Winter Season: (Dates and times tentative based on Mountain conditions/grooming, etc.) 1. Monday December 3rd before Season Opener! 8:00am - 10:00am (sunrise around 8:10am) East route 2. Wednesday December 12th 7:00am - 9:00am (sunrise around 8:20am); Benny Up route from bottom of Chair 1 to the summit of Big Mtn 3. Wednesday January 9th 4:00pm -6:00pm (sunset around 5pm) East Route

Not a learn-to-skin program, must already have experience and be comfortable skinning/skiing/snowboarding.
Although we surely won’t be racing up the mountain, in order to keep the group together, it would be ideal if you already possess a moderate level of cardiovascular/physical fitness.
