Physical Therapists are Orthopedic Specialists… and So Much More!

Physical therapists (PTs) are musculoskeletal and movement experts. Today’s PTs have more tools in their tool kit than ever before to help you recover from an injury, find relief from nagging pain, and prehab and rehabilitate after surgery.

Early in physical therapist Tyler Corwin’s PT career,Tyler was motivated to further advance his skill set.Tyler spent 5 years earning a Diploma in Osteopractic, learning from some of the best clinicians in the country in areas of:

  • Neuromusculoskeletal dry needling

  • Instrument-assisted fascial mobilization

  • Spinal manipulation

  • Spine management

  • Differential diagnosis

  • Headache management

  • TMJ treatment

Just because two people have the same injury or dysfunction does not mean their bodies will respond to the same treatments, and physical therapy at Whitefish Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach.

“…I think my long list of injuries has helped me relate to many of my clients, understanding what they are going through, both physically and emotionally. It is very rewarding to help people enjoy their lives without pain or limitations. Manual therapy techniques are my tool of choice, but every body is different, and the fun and challenge is determining the right treatment for each person.”
