Physical therapists can treat that?

Physical therapists, more specialized than ever, can effectively treat a wide variety of issues:  The field of physical therapy is constantly evolving, and today’s physical therapists are trained to treat issues such as headaches, TMJ, vestibular & concussion issues, lymphedema, neurological problems, and complex orthopedics.

Physical therapists (PTs) are musculoskeletal and movement experts. Since 2016, PTs have been required to complete doctoral level education. Early in Tyler Corwin’s PT career, Tyler was motivated to further advance his skill set: Tyler spent 5 years earning a Diploma in Osteopractic, learning from some of the best clinicians in the country in areas of spinal manipulation, neuromusculoskeletal dry needling, instrument assisted fascial mobilization, differential diagnosis, TMJ treatment, spine management, and headache management. These skills allow Tyler to effectively and efficiently help clients heal their complex, nagging, or chronic pain problems. Having been on the operating table and the rehab table several times, Tyler understands what it feels like to be a patient. For him, “there is no better feeling in the profession than to see people get back to what they love to do, in a way that they want to do it.”

Just because two people have the same injury or dysfunction does not mean their bodies will respond to the same treatments, and physical therapy at Whitefish Therapy is not a one-size-fits all approach. Patients are matched with the therapist(s) that best suit their needs. Contact us at 406-862-WFPT (9378) to find your physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy specialist.
